About Techsapiens

Techsapiens is a London-based, market-leading technology partner to flexible workspace operators. We deliver high-quality consulting, system integration and managed services to clients across the UK, Europe and beyond, helping them design, implement and operate scalable, reliable technology that underpins exceptional workspace experiences.

Our work spans the full technology stack required to run a modern flexible workspace. We support both back-office IT environments and the operational platforms that power member experience and day-to-day operations, including workspace management systems, networks, security, access control, meeting rooms, connectivity and integrations between software and on-site infrastructure. This end-to-end approach allows us to design cohesive, secure and scalable solutions that grow with our clients’ businesses.

We care deeply about the quality and rigour of our work. This shows up in an uncommon commitment to doing things properly, and it’s something our clients and team members consistently recognize. We believe every project and interaction is an opportunity to learn and improve. Think near-perfect delivery, backed by continuous improvement. If you’re familiar with Kaizen, you’ll recognize the mindset.

We are practical problem-solvers who take ownership. Titles matter less than outcomes, and everyone is willing to roll up their sleeves and do what’s needed to make the work happen. We are friendly, approachable and focused on making technology more human and enjoyable. We are a fast-growing team, headquartered in London with remote team members across three continents.

We are growing rapidly and expect to continue scaling, supported by an increasingly sophisticated service portfolio and a growing global client base.

No two days will be the same here.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a Modern Workplace & End-User Computing (EUC) Tech Lead to join our team.

This is a senior technical leadership role within our managed services practice, responsible for setting direction, leading delivery, and acting as the highest escalation point for all aspects of modern workplace technology across our client base.

You will bring deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure identity, and endpoint management, with strong hands-on knowledge of EUC technologies such as Intune, Autopilot, RMM, macOS MDM (e.g. Addigy / JAMF), and VoIP solutions.

The role also includes helping to drive responsible AI adoption internally and for clients, and playing a key role in reviewing, defining, and continuously improving the Techsapiens modern workplace and EUC technology stack, while ensuring alignment with ITIL, CIS 8.1, Cyber Essentials, and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Act as the senior technical authority for modern workplace, EUC, and VoIP across the managed services portfolio.
  • Define technical standards, reference architectures, and best practice for client environments.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for complex or high-impact technical issues.

Modern Workplace and EUC

  • Lead the design and delivery of modern workplace solutions across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Own EUC standards including Intune, Autopilot, RMM, macOS MDM (Addigy or equivalent), and endpoint security.
  • Ensure consistent, secure, and well-managed end-user experiences across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.

Identity, Cloud and Integration

  • Design and govern Azure AD / Entra ID including SSO, conditional access, MFA, and hybrid identity.
  • Ensure clean integration between workplace platforms, VoIP, SaaS applications, and wider MSP services.

AI Adoption and Innovation

  • Provide technical leadership on AI adoption across workplace platforms, internally and for clients.
  • Assess AI capabilities and advise on secure, practical, and compliant use cases aligned with client needs.

Technology Stack Ownership

  • Help define, review, and continuously improve the Techsapiens modern workplace, EUC, and VoIP technology stack.
  • Evaluate tools and platform capabilities based on security, scalability, operational fit, and client value.
  • Document standards and guidance to support consistent delivery across the business.

Enablement and Governance

  • Provide expert technical input to Account Managers and Service Delivery Managers for client discussions, proposals, and service reviews.
  • Promote ITIL-aligned service delivery and ensure solutions align with CIS 8.1, Cyber Essentials, and ISO standards.
  • Support the development of the wider technical team through mentoring, guidance, and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record delivering modern workplace solutions in an MSP or multi-tenant environment.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and architecture.
  • Strong enterprise experience with Google Workspace.
  • Solid knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID identity services.
  • Hands-on expertise with EUC solutions including Intune, Autopilot, RMM platforms, macOS device management (Addigy or similar), and VoIP platforms such as Teams Voice or UCaaS.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and industry standards including CIS 8.1, Cyber Essentials, and ISO 27001 / 9001.
  • Strong interest in AI-enabled workplace technologies, with the ability to assess opportunities, risks, and real-world value.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Strong security experience within modern workplace and EUC environments, including endpoint protection, EDR/XDR platforms, email security, and identity-related threat mitigation.
  • Experience contributing to security incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvement in an MSP context.
  • Hands-on experience preparing environments for audits or assessments aligned to standards such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, or similar frameworks.
  • A strong automation mindset, with experience reducing manual operational effort through scripting, tooling, policy-driven configuration, or workflow automation.
  • Experience designing scalable standards and patterns across multiple client tenants rather than bespoke one-off solutions.
  • Exposure to pre-sales and solution design activities, including technical discovery, solution shaping, and supporting commercial teams with technical input.
  • Experience with licensing and cost optimization across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and associated workplace tooling.
  • Familiarity working with vendors and partners, including evaluating tools, managing technical relationships, and influencing product direction where possible.
  • Practical experience with AI-powered productivity tooling, such as Microsoft Copilot / ChatGPT
  • Experience using AI and automation to improve workflows, reduce operational friction, and enhance end-user productivity.
  • A track record of operating effectively as a senior individual contributor, providing other team members with mentoring, guidance, and technical leadership.

Personal Attributes

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable acting as a senior escalation point.
  • Proactive and solution-focused, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Passionate about technology and how it can be used to help clients achieve their goals.

  • You are extremely well organized: we are a young business and are constantly improving our own standards and processes and need you to be a systems thinker, constantly creating, documenting and improving processes.
  • You’re a team player and work in a way that allows us to do much better work together than anyone can by themselves. You help others achieve excellence in their work.
  • You don’t crack under pressure: we work hard to ensure that things run well on networks we manage, but there will be unexpected problems. Outages and downtime can be a stressful time – you need to keep your cool.
  • You are passionate about technology and have a vision about how we can use technology to help our clients achieve their goals.
  • Do the dishes: this is a small team working on fast-moving projects. Everyone needs to roll up their sleeves and pitch in with whatever work needs to be done. There’s no such thing as ‘not my job’.
  • Be responsible. Do what you say you’ll do. Do the right thing no matter what. Don’t wait to be told what to do. Be candid and transparent. Take quiet pride in your work. Self-motivated and self-disciplined. Strong work ethic. Selfless.
    • You don’t wait to be told what to do
    • You do what you say you’ll do
    • You do the right thing when nobody is looking

  • We strive for a strong culture at techsapiens which is geared around diverse pursuits, adventure, health & happiness – something more than just hitting the pub at 5 – not that we have anything against beer – quite the opposite!
  • IT companies aren’t always the most diverse places so we actively seek candidates who will bring diversity into our team, thinking & culture. We think that life & work are better when we have different points of view.
  • We take on pro-bono charity projects and we welcome your input on the types of projects and charities we work with.

Career Development

We invest heavily in the ongoing development of our technical team and will support relevant training, certifications, and hands-on learning aligned to modern workplace, EUC, security, and automation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape how modern workplace services are delivered at Techsapiens, including defining standards, influencing the technology stack, and embedding best practice across the business.

As Techsapiens grows, this role offers progression in one of two directions, depending on your strengths and interests. This may include moving into a more senior leadership and management position, with responsibility for shaping teams, delivery, and strategy, or progressing as a senior technical specialist, acting as a principal or lead architect for modern workplace and EUC services.

We recognise that great technical leaders do not all want the same career path, and we are committed to supporting progression that plays to your skills while delivering the best outcomes for our clients and the business.
